Girl Scouts pop their tops for Lakeside

The ongoing "Pop Your Top for Lakeside" drive received pop can tops from a group of Spencerport Girl Scouts from troops 869 and 942 who collected pop tops for three years. Troop leaders are Jan Saxton and Janet Sformo. The girls are pictured tipping their tabs from the seven collecting cans they have filled to the brim with thousands of tabs. Proceeds from this project are given to Lakeside Memorial Hospital's Twig Association who in turn donate the funds to the hospital for the ongoing purchase of much needed medical equipment. Lakeside encourages the community to save their pop and beer can tabs for recycling. Tabs can be deposited into the receptable located in the lobby of the Physicians' Office Building at Lakeside Memorial Hospital.
