Northside Express Mart sponsors bestsellers at the Seymour Library

Northside Express Mart sponsors bestsellers at the Seymour Library

Thanks to a sponsorship by Brad Alexander, owner of Northside Service and Northside Express Mart, the Seymour Library will purchase at least one copy of every book on the New York Times bestsellers list (hard cover fiction and non-fiction) in 2008.

"As a local business owner, I'm happy to support one of our community's most important assets - its public library," said Alexander.

Library Director Cassie Guthrie said Alexander's sponsorship will allow the library to focus funds in other areas in 2008. "We need to provide the bestsellers that people are looking for, but we also need to make sure that we have up-to-date health, science and career books on the shelf. Brad's generous donation will allow us to devote more resources in those areas."
