James “Jim/Jimmy” passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024 at the age of 98. He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Marjean; their children, Steven, Brian, and Lauren (Jeffrey) Piper; and grandchildren, Kyle, Stephanie, and Jessica.
Jim was a World War II Navy veteran, 40-year retiree of Eastman Kodak Company, and a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College and Rochester Institute of Technology. For many years, he was very active as a Cub Scout Master and was awarded the Wood Badge. He is remembered as a devoted working member of his church and community.In his retirement, Jim enjoyed his garden, wood working, and being with his grandchildren, whom he loved. He always said that he had lived a good life.
