The 13th Annual Celebrate Agriculture Dinner will take place Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 6 p.m. at the Alexander Fire Hall, Rt. 98 in Alexander. This event is a celebration of the number one industry in Genesee County – Agriculture. Locally produced vegetables and meat are prepared by Penna’s Catering for a delicious dinner. The dinner is open to the public.
Tickets for the event go on sale December 1 at the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce, 210 East Main Street, Batavia. Tickets are $25 each. Only 400 tickets are available. Last year the event sold out in January. Sponsorships are also available, which help support agriculture educational events in Genesee County.
The Celebrate Ag Dinner is coordinated by the following partners: Cornell Cooperative Extension of Genesee County, Genesee County Chamber of Commerce, Genesee County Soil & Water Conservation District and Genesee County Farm Bureau. Many local farms and businesses also sponsor this event.
