•Whalin, Steven J., Holley, age 67 died unexpectedly December 11, 2014. He was born September 19, 1947 in Brockport to Thurman and Ruth (Schreib) Whalin and was a life-long resident of this area. Mr. Whalin was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War where he was wounded and received a Purple Heart Medal. Mr. Whalin was predeceased by his brother Michael Whalin. He is survived by his wife of alomost 45 years, Carol; his daughters Lisa (Daniel) Douglas of Gasport, Becky (David) Gagne of Holley; his brothers, Ronald (Diane) Whalin of Holley, Jay (Teresa) Whalin of Bergen; his sisters, Margaret Smith of Batavia, Sandra (Thomas) Elder of Alabama; his grandchildren: Sydney, Tatum, Delaney, Steven, Colin, Hadley; two stepsisters; as well as several nieces and nephews.
