Swing Into Jazzy January

At St. Luke’s Episcopal Church

Get ready to warm up a winter evening with jazz. St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is hosting Jazzy January 2026, an annual night of music and community, on Saturday, January 10, at 7 p.m. The church is located at 14 State Street, Brockport. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.

The evening features an exceptional lineup of soloists:

  • Ben Monacelli, tenor and Ithaca College graduate in vocal jazz performance, is known for his work with Rochester’s First Inversion choir and productions of Kinky Boots and La Cage Aux Folles.
  • Elizabeth Harden, pastor of St. Luke’s since 2019, holds a Master of Divinity from the School of Theology in Sewanee and brings warmth and leadership to the Brockport community.
  • Misha Studenkov, a versatile pianist, accordionist, and composer whose jazz styles blend blues, bebop, and modal traditions. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, Misha has collaborated with renowned artists and performs widely across Rochester.

Guests are encouraged to bring donations and non-perishable food items, which will be gifted to the Brockport Food Shelf. This concert is made possible in part by a grant from the Brockport Arts Fund of the Rochester Area Community Foundation.

All are invited to join in a night of music, fellowship, and generosity to swing into the new year.
