SUNY Brockport Ranked Among Best Colleges for Women Nationwide

Newsweek has recognized SUNY Brockport in its inaugural America’s Best Colleges for Women rankings. Brockport is ranked among the top 15% of colleges and universities nationwide.
Newsweek, in partnership with Gender Fair, ranked institutions across four categories: leadership, pay and policies, safety, and opportunity. SUNY Brockport ranked tied for 201st nationwide, drawing high marks for safety and leadership. The rankings placed Brockport among the top institutions in both SUNY and the Rochester region.
“The college experience should empower every student to reach their full potential, and for women, that means attending an institution that prioritizes leadership opportunities, equitable pay practices, campus safety, and meaningful pathways to success,” said Newsweek Editor-In-Chief Jennifer H. Cunningham.
Cunningham explains that the rankings aren’t intended to be used in isolation, but as one tool to help navigate the college search process – including college visits.
