Story of Hope Comfort Care Home is holding its signature spring fundraiser, Derby & Desserts, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Rustic Roots, 5324 West Ridge Road, Spencerport. The event invites the community to celebrate the excitement of the 152nd Kentucky Derby while supporting compassionate end-of-life care for local families.
Guests are encouraged to arrive in their finest derby attire for an evening filled with entertainment, friendly competition, and sweet indulgence. The event will feature a live stream of the Kentucky Derby, a live dessert auction showcasing creations donated by local bakeries, and a variety of interactive fundraising activities, including basket raffles, games of chance, a wine pull, and prizes for Best Dressed and Best Hat.

All proceeds from Derby & Desserts directly benefit Story of Hope Comfort Care Home in Chili, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing compassionate, dignified, home-like end-of-life care at no cost to residents or their families.
