Spencerport Senior Wins Big at NFL Draft

What started as a mother-son trip to Pittsburgh for the 2026 NFL Draft as an 18th birthday present turned into something much more for Spencerport High School senior Jeremiah Morgan.
After participating in a field goal kick event and making the goal, Jeremiah was one of eight invited to be part of Pat McAfee’s popular field goal challenge. The first two contestants missed, so McAfee asked the six remaining contestants to select one person from the group to attempt a $1.2 million kick. If successful, $600,000 would go to charity, and $600,000 would be divided among the six contestants. The group chose Sam Bailey from Pennsylvania, a kicker on his high school football team, to attempt the 29-yard field goal at Acrisure Stadium. It was a wise choice. The kick was good, and Jeremiah and the others each came away with a $100,000 prize.
Jeremiah played varsity football and wrestled for the Rangers, winning the 2026 Section V Class A2 wrestling title at 285 lbs.
