It was a busy end to June for the Brockport Lions Club as they embodied the Lions motto, “We Serve.”
On Friday, June 26, the Brockport Lions operated two food booth locations. Club members served 348 hot dogs with chips and water in just two hours at the Seymour Library during its Summer Reading Program Kickoff. The Lions also held their regular June Cruise-in at the Brockport Vets Club that evening. Members stepped up to manage two events on the same night.
Two days later, Brockport Lions helped kick off Camp Abilities 2026 by cooking dinner. Camp Abilities is a sports camp for children and teens who are blind, visually impaired, or deafblind that is held annually at SUNY Brockport.
