Greece Regional Chamber Unveils New Brand Identity

The Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) marked a new chapter in its history during its Annual Meeting in June, unveiling a new brand identity and electing four new members to its Board of Directors.

The new logo represents the Chamber’s continuing evolution as the voice of business in the Greece community. Developed by the Chamber’s Marketing Committee, the logo reflects GRCC’s mission to help businesses Connect. Grow. Thrive.

The flowing blue and green elements symbolize the relationships, partnerships, and momentum that drive business success while subtly forming the letter “G” for Greece. The design is also inspired by the natural features that define the community, including Lake Ontario, Braddock Bay, and the waterways that have long connected people, commerce, and opportunity.

“More than a new logo, this represents who we are as an organization,” said John Adams, President & CEO of the Greece Regional Chamber. “Our Chamber has been evolving over the past year – strengthening our financial foundation, expanding member engagement, embracing new technology, and building stronger partnerships throughout the community. Our new brand reflects that momentum and our commitment to helping businesses connect, grow, and thrive.”

The Chamber also announced the results of its Board of Directors election. Four business and community leaders were elected from a field of seven candidates to serve on the Board:

  • Brandon Barnhart, Vice President and Senior Branch Manager, M&T Bank
  • Christi Alvarado, AVP Community Banker, NBT Bank Rochester/North Buffalo Market
  • Keith Opp, Founder, CEO, 2218 Creative
  • Michelle Betters, Assistant to the Director of Planning & Economic Development, Town of Greece

“The quality of this year’s candidates demonstrates the strength of our business community,” Adams said. “We are fortunate to welcome four outstanding leaders whose experience and commitment will help guide the Chamber as we continue growing and creating value for our members.”

The Chamber also recognized three retiring members of its Board of Directors for their dedicated service:

  • Anthony Ariola, M&T Bank
  • Michelle Scipioni, Episcopal SeniorLife
  • Isabelle Melody, Wrinkles Legal

While retiring from the Board, Melody will continue serving the Chamber as a member of its Governance Committee and as outside legal counsel. Scipioni has also committed to remaining actively involved and will be joining a Chamber committee in the coming months.

The Annual Meeting also highlighted the Chamber’s progress over the past year, including expanded networking opportunities, new member committees, increased collaboration with the Town of Greece and neighboring chambers, the implementation of new technologies, and plans for a modern Chamber management system to better serve members.

The new logo was developed through the collaborative efforts of the Chamber’s Marketing Committee, co-chaired by Chad Zambito (Account Executive, WROC-TV Channel 8) and Keith Opp, with contributions from Jenn Piper (Founding Business Advisor, VOLARE AI). The logo and the accompanying reveal video were designed by Kevin Opp of KODesign, part of 2218 Creative.

The Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce is the largest suburban chamber of commerce in the Greater Rochester region, serving businesses and organizations of all sizes through networking, advocacy, marketing opportunities, professional development, and strategic partnerships. The Chamber’s mission is to help businesses connect, grow, and thrive while strengthening the economic vitality of the Greece community. For more information, visit www.greecechamber.org.
