The More Than A Game Foundation, Cam’s Pizzeria and Spencerport Central School District hosted the 18th Annual Hoops for the Hospital Basketball Tournament last December and the 24th Annual Coach “Chow” Girls Basketball Classic in January.
Together with the Spencerport Winter cheerleaders and basketball teams from Brockport, Canandaigua, West Irondequoit and Webster Schroeder, a donation will be made in the amount of $4,501.12 to the More Than A Game Foundation Hoops for Hospitals program in the name of Alex Turnquist. Alex is a Spencerport High School sophomore student-athlete.
All proceeds from this tournament are directed to the More Than A Game Foundation for the Hoops for Hospital program and will benefit the Golisano Chidren’s Hosptial at Strong. The check presentation ceremony will take place on Friday, February 13 at approximately 7 p.m. in the High School East Gym.
