Hilton Fire District Residents in Greece Approve Ambulance District

Property owners in the Greece portion of the Hilton Fire District voted 82-13 on Tuesday, November 3, to approve an ambulance district proposed by the Town of Parma.

The approval allows the Town of Parma to contract with an EMS provider to station an ambulance in the Village of Hilton, reducing response times for the roughly 400 Northwest Greece households primarily served by the Hilton Fire Department. The projected cost is $0.1357 per $1,000 of assessed value, which will appear on the 2027 Town and County property tax bills.

“Thank you to every resident who took the time to learn about this proposal and cast a vote,” said Supervisor McCann. “This was your decision to make, and you made your voice heard.”

Residents with questions may contact the Town of Greece at 585-225-2000 or info@greeceny.gov.
