The Greater Churchville-Riga Chamber Golf Committee is pleased to announce the date for its next golf tournament, Monday, July 25. This annual fundraiser will include golf, lunch, a great steak dinner, prizes and time to socialize with friends and community leaders.
Participants can play golf and/or attend the dinner afterward, sponsor a hole, or donate door prizes to be given away at dinner along with many other activities. Player fee costs $80 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, lunch, dinner and refreshments.
Dinner-only costs $25 per person and hole sponsorship costs $80.
The tournament will take place at the Churchville Golf Course, 643 Kendall Road. Registration will be from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by the shotgun start at 11 a.m. (scramble format). The East/West Lodge in Churchville Park will host social hour at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m.
This year’s proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit the Harvey C. Noone American Legion Post #945 roof repair project and updating the community event sign in front of the Newman Riga Library.
