Frances II Apartments on Owens Road in the Town of Sweden has submitted construction plans to the Sweden building department for review and approval with the goal of beginning construction this fall. The developer has also submitted a Letter of Credit Estimate for the project for approval.
Last October, the Sweden Town Board approved the rezoning of approximately 2.5 acres on Owens Road from Heavy Industrial to Business Retail to allow for the construction of Frances II Apartments. Frances I opened in 2017. Frances II, adjacent on both the north and south sides of Frances I, proposes an additional 48 apartments, a quarter of which will be used by Lifetime Assistance clients.
