It was a surprise baby shower for Lindsay Schallmo, of Spencerport, on May 1. Her husband, Jonathan, is Worship Pastor at Open Door in Chili and some people from the choir and orchestra got together to throw a socially-distanced surprise baby shower for the family. The couple’s other children, Connor, Annalee, and Logan, were also surprised. Jonathan said, “It always amazes me how important it is to have community around us. It is during times like these that our communities show us love, support, care, and share in the laughter.” The newest family member, a girl, is due to arrive June 13.
