Lindsay Longobardi, a 2003 Spencerport graduate, has accepted the position of Vaccine Products Project Manager for COVID-19 subunit vaccine at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, a part of the National Institutes of Health.
Lindsay has a Bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo with a major in Biotechnology and a minor in Biochemical Pharmacology, a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, along with a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Hood College, and a Project Management Professional Certification.
For the last 13 years she has worked at Fort Detrick in Maryland with positions at the U. S. Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases, the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasure Medical Materiel Agency, the joint Program Executive Office of Medical Countermeasure Systems, and most recently served as the Deputy Project Manager for Warfighter Deployed Medical Systems at the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity.
In her spare time she enjoys working at a winery in Maryland and traveling with her parents, Carmen and Maureen Longobardi, and her sister, Carla.
