After Spending the 2020 season on hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, Jake Welch of Spencerport will be returning to baseball this season. Welch, a pitcher for the York Revolution of the Atlantic League, recently signed his 2021 contract and will be returning to the Atlantic League AAA/AA team as early as the first week of May. Welch is in his fifth season of Independent Professional Baseball. A graduate of Spencerport High School and Notre Dame College, Welch will be part of the starting rotation.
