Town Honors Bill Selke on his 90th Birthday
On April 8, 2021, the Town of Greece hosted a proclamation ceremony in recognition of Greece resident William “Bill” Selke’s 90th birthday.
Bill Selke is very active member of the Greece community, he even has an award named after him. Bill has been repeatedly recognized and awarded for his advocacy. Since retiring from Kodak in 1989, Bill has been heavily involved in the Greece community. A few of his most notable involvements have been the Greece Kiwanis Festival of Youth, the Greece Seniors Housing Interaction and Support Committee, the Two Doors Resource Center, and the Greece Planning Board.
“Bill Selke has made outstanding contributions to the Town of Greece and exemplifies both leadership and service. I am proud to recognize his character and celebrate his 90th birthday. I would like to declare this noteworthy day – April 8, 2021 – as Bill Selke Day in the Town of Greece. Happy 90th Birthday, Bill,” said Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich.
