Michael “Mike” P. Ferris passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the age of 76. Predeceased by his father Michael A. Ferris, mother Eleanor E. Pieniaszek, stepfather Eugene J. Pieniaszek, sister Kathleen J. Koss and brother-in-law Barry A. Koss. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Deborah “Debbie” Ferris, sons Thomas (Ann) Ferris, Timothy J. Ferris and Randall (Jill) Ferris, 8 grandchildren Julian Ferris, Lucas Ferris, Calvin (Karina) Ferris, Olivia (Benjamin Gillett) Ferris, Maria Ferris, Dylan Ferris, Anthony Ferris and Evan Ferris, 1 great grandson Calvin Edward Ferris Jr., brother-in-law Richard N. Koss, sister and brother-in-law Richard (Diane) Lasch, brother and sister-in-law Michael (Kelly) Koss, sister-in-law Sheila Koss, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Mike was a member of the Brockport Fire Department and the Brockport Exempts. He was dedicated, hardworking and proficient in his profession of Elevator Mechanics. Mike was a man of strong faith and a devoted member of Nativity Church in Brockport. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle, but his family was most important to Mike. He was a highly respected mentor and friend.
