As the 2022 mid-term election season begins, the American people need to be informed of and educated to the fact that almost all, if not all, of our traditional allies in western Europe, Scandinavia, and Canada have federal governments that do more and spend more than we do in the USA (in proportion to their population sizes) on social programs to improve the quality of life for those in the middle and lower classes.
To paraphrase Al Pacino in the movie “And Justice For All”, for us in the USA to be right about this, all of them have to be wrong.
I don’t think so.
