Canandaigua National Bank & Trust (CNB) has announced two employee graduates from the inaugural Leadership Ontario program. Kelly Rotter, of Canandaigua, and Karen Tinsmon, of Victor, have both completed the ten month interactive program.
Through a series of monthly learning development opportunities, Leadership Ontario participants were actively strengthening their leadership skills and building lasting connections between organizations and each other. The cohort was challenged to become positive leaders, and use the information presented to engage in supporting the residents, businesses, organizations, and government of Ontario County.
Kelly Rotter has been with CNB for five years and serves as Community Affairs Specialist. She has responsibilities in public, media, non-profit, and government relations as well as community and corporate events. Rotter earned her BA in Psychology from LeMoyne College, Syracuse. She is currently involved in volunteer positions with Sonnenberg Gardens, United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes, Ontario County Chamber of Commerce, and Kiwanis of Canandaigua.
Karen Tinsmon started at CNB in 2018 and has the role of Corporate Governance & Insurance Specialist. She works with CNB General Counsel to manage the Annual Shareholder Meeting and the shareholder proxy voting processes, ensures compliance of internal corporate governance policies, coordination of Nominating and Governance Committee, administration and oversight of corporate subsidiary governance, and maintains/reviews the Company’s corporate insurance policies. Tinsmon received her MS, Human Resource Development, from Rochester Institute of Technology, and BS, Business Management, from Binghamton University. She is a member of the Genesee Country Village and Museum’s “The Whirl” fundraising event planning committee.
