Holiday Events at The Center in Greece

The Annual Tree Lighting ceremony was held on December 7th, the official kickoff to the season. At 6 PM, the tree was lit, followed by activities including horse drawn wagon rides, live music, fire pits and holiday treats.

CHRISTMAS CRAFTING
Tuesday, December 12
Time: 1:00-3:30pm • Ages 18 & Up • Cost: R: $5/NR: $10
Get into the Christmas spirit with Danielle and create a snowman light-bulb ornament for home or even a gift.
All supplies provided

COOKIE DECORATING 101: CHRISTMAS
Wednesday, December 13
Time: 6:00-7:30pm • Ages 18 & Up • Cost: R: $45/NR: $50
Learn cookie decorating techniques from a professional. Our instructor has baked, decorated and sold thousands of cookies nationwide. In addition, our expert has taught thousands of people how to decorate like a pro.
Participants will learn how to decorate Christmas themed cookies. Included in your registration are 8 cookies, all frosting colors and embellishments needed along with a practice sheet, recipes and a decorating tool. Basic techniques such as piping, flooding and more will be covered. Please Note: Space is limited.

MOMMY & ME ORNAMENT PAINTING
Wednesday, December 13
Time: 6:00-7:00pm • Ages 6-7 Cost: R:$4 per child/NR: $9 per child
Join us for this special event at The Center! Create a new ornament for your tree or a gift for someone else. Two ornaments will be provided per participant. All supplies provided.
Please Note: Parents are required to stay.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
Saturday, December 16
Time: 10am-12:30pm • Open to all ages
Cost: R:$2/NR:$7 • All attending must register.
Ho Ho Ho! Get into the holiday spirit with good food, good song and holiday cheer with Santa himself. Includes Continental Breakfast, Gym Games, Visit from Santa and Music.

Looking for a way to defeat the holiday stress? Join us for a holiday-themed relaxing hour of yoga. Learn various yoga movements that will promote strength, flexibility and balance. No pervious experience needed. Bring your own yoga mat is encouraged, but not required. The use of yoga blocks is optional.

FAMILY HOLIDAY JAMMIE BINGO PARTY

Time: 6:30-8:00pm • Open to all Ages • Cost: R:$5/NR:$10 Dress in your favorite holiday attire or jammies and get ready for this special holiday event! Includes Bingo, Hot Cocoa Bar and Guaranteed fun. All children must be accompanied by an adult. All participating must register.

BELL HUNT
Ring in the New Year with a Bell Hunt in the park.

Time: 10:30-11:30am • Ages 3 and up • Cost: R:$5/NR:$10 Find hidden bells along the trails and enjoy the wonder as you ring in the New Year at Sawyer Park. All attending must register. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Program Location Sawyer Park, 732 Long Pond Road.

SNOW SCULPTURE BUILDING CONTEST
Friday, December 29
Time: 2-3:30pm • Open to all ages • Cost: R:Free/NR: NR Activity Credit. Come dressed in your warmest attire and compete with other families to make the best snow sculpture. Small tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own (snow shovel, block makers, etc). After completion, our judges will pick the top sculpture and winner’s will leave with a small winter prize.
