On Friday, January 12, 2024, a First Responders Appreciation Night was held at the Greece vs Hilton Varsity hockey game held at Lakeshore Hockey Arena in Greece.
The program honored each of the hockey player’s family members that are First Responders.
The National Anthem was performed by the Greece Olympia Choir. Ceremonies included a puck drop by local Fire and Life Safety Award winner Andrew Trammell who, in June of 2023, was honored for his actions notifying his family during a fire in their home, hockey team members displaying a large American Flag during the National Anthem and a large American flag display off of a Ladder Truck in the parking lot.
