In April, a Clean Sweep of the canal area in Brockport was done by members of the Brockport Lions Club, SUNY Brockport students, and other community members pictured. Trash was gathered from the canal bank and the canal itself from Redman Road to Park Street, bagged, and later picked up by the Canal Authority.
