Partyka Farms expands into catering
The summer party season is in full swing, and if you’re planning a get-together, the folks at Partyka’s Farm Market in Kendall would be happy to help.
Partyka’s now offers a catering menu and Lora Partyka says Debbie Ryan (of the former Ryan’s Big M in Brockport), who began working at Partyka’s this season, has been instrumental in establishing the catering facet of the business.
“It’s our first year together,” Lora says, “it’s a great combination. Debbie lives down the road. It’s a great thing working together. Debbie brought a lot of great knowledge to our business. We’ve been able to do more things with Debbie.”
Debbie Ryan says she’s having fun at Partyka’s. She spent 10 of her 22 years at Ryan’s Big M helping out with catering. She also helps out the Kendall Lions with their large-scale dinners.
“I enjoy it very much,” she says of working at Partyka’s, “it’s close to home, I live just down the road.”
The catering menu includes salads – pasta twist, potato, coleslaw, and broccoli, to name a few; baked beans, salt potatoes, baked ziti, baked chicken, Italian sausage with onions and peppers and meatballs with sauce. All items are available by the half-pan (serves 15-20) and full pan (serves 30-40). Also available are meat platters, beef-on-weck roll, and wrap trays.
Catering will be available from April 15 thru the end of the year, Debbie says.
The catering menu was featured during Partyka’s Beef-on-Weck dinner which was held Father’s Day. “We had over 220 people,” Debbie says. “It went very well.”
“All items on the catering menu are made from scratch,” Debbie adds. “We even bake our own rolls.”
