On December 17, Sunnking Inc., an electronics recycling company based in Brockport, presented 24 refurbished smart televisions to Hilton East Assisted Living. Sunnking often looks for opportunities to support its surrounding communities and was prompted to donate the televisions upon learning that their refurbished electronics retail center in Brockport, Ecaboose, had an abundance of inventory.
“We were happy to provide new technology to a local organization that creates a comfortable community for our seniors,” said Duane Beckett, CEO of Sunnking. “The refurbished TVs will get a lot of use, which is what we like to see. Choosing refurbished tech is a sustainable option for consumers and businesses because there are the same great brands for better prices and it helps keep devices from ending up in landfills”.
The TVs will be used by residents around the assisted living community. “We are thankful for the very kind donation of 24 new televisions from Sunnking for our residents,” said Sheila Turner, Administrator of Hilton East Assisted Living. “Hilton East prides itself on providing extraordinary care to our community. Sunnking’s generous support will bring so many smiles to so many faces this holiday season!”
