Canandaigua National Bank & Trust (CNB) is a corporate sponsor of the 2021 Hillside Special Santa online program.
The Hillside Family of Agencies provides services to at-risk youth ranging from community-based programs and in-home services to day treatment and residential care. The Hillside Special Santa program provides gifts to children and families served by Hillside programs. The program moved to a fully online program in 2020 due to the pandemic and will continue to be fully online again in 2021.
CNB has been a long-time supporter of the Special Santa program, displaying gift tag trees in its lobbies and gift collection throughout its branch network. CNB’s 2021 corporate sponsorship directly supports the ability to provide gifts to several Hillside families. In addition, CNB will raise awareness of the online program to its customers and community through in-branch messaging and social media posts, as well as through its Casual Blue Fridays on December 3. The Casual Blue Fridays initiative allows employees to donate $5 to wear blue jeans in support of the charity’s fundraising efforts. Community members can also donate to the Casual Blue Special Santa Day by visiting their CNB Community Bank Office.
Last year, Special Santa provided gifts for over 4,000 young people and families served by Hillside with support from CNB, its employees and customers, and other donors.
