CountryMax adds to in-house marketing team

CountryMax, locally owned with 18 stores across New York State, has added Hannah Erhardt as a designer in its growing in-house marketing team.

CountryMax has been expanding the team over the past 12 months to keep pace with the needs of its growing store network, and the changing landscape of marketing.

“We’re excited to be able to bring Hannah aboard and see firsthand the strengths she has as a digital and social media designer come to life for our brand,” says Brad Payne, Director of Sales.

Erhardt recently relocated from Austin,Texas, where she was part of the in-house marketing team for a family-owned chain of ice cream stores – a retailer with many similarities to CountryMax. In that role, she developed store signage, product packaging, merchandising concepts, as well organic and paid social media posts.

A graduate of Maryland Institute College of Art, Erhardt grew up in Webster, riding horses and enjoying the outdoors. After six years living and working in Austin, she recently moved back to the area with her cat, two dogs, and six chickens. “That was a fun and interesting car ride,” she explains.

“We now have more design strength and experience than ever before,” says Creative Director Brian Rapp. “Which means we’ll be able to take the CountryMax brand, digital marketing and in-store experience to an exciting new level in 2022 and beyond.”

CountryMax, founded in 1984, is a family-owned business that carries a variety of healthy pet foods and pet supplies, small animals, home, lawn and garden, wild bird, and equestrian essentials.
