CNB announces Vice President promotions

Canandaigua National Bank & Trust (CNB) has promoted Kelly Crane, Christine Ensslin, Thomas Gorsky, Sarah  Housel, Jeffrey Humbert, Jerry Lack, Kelly Masline, Todd Mihaly, and Thomas Rogers to Vice President.  

Kelly Crane, Mortgage Compliance Officer, joined CNB Mortgage Company in 2009 as a Mortgage Processor.   He was promoted to Mortgage Specialist, and in 2012 became Mortgage Processor Supervisor.  Crane moved into the Mortgage Compliance Officer role in August of 2021.

Christine Ensslin, Retail Operations Manager, joined CNB in 2004 as the Service Manager for the Chili Community Office.  She has worked in multiple areas, including Training, Help Desk, and Security.  In 2013, she rejoined the Help Desk/Operations Support area as Manager.  Ensslin became the Retail Operations Officer in 2017 and has recently expanded her role by overseeing Retail training.

Thomas Gorsky, Finance Manager, joined CNB in 2018 as a Market Research Analyst. The next year, he moved to the Finance Department, taking a role as Financial Reporting Analyst.  Gorsky has been promoted to Finance Manager and leads the efforts for the annual budget process, forecasting, and board reporting.

Sarah Housel, Credit Review Manager, began her career at CNB in loan operations in 1999.  Housel joined the Collateral Area of the Credit Risk Management Group in 2004 and joined the underwriting team in 2006 as a Credit Analyst.  She has also held the position of Senior Commercial Loan Reviewer/Financial Statement Model Manager and was promoted to Credit Review Manager in 2017.

Jeffrey Humbert, Financial Advisor, joined the Marketing Department at CNB in 2010.  In 2017, he moved into a Personal Banker Trainee position, assuming the Personal Banker role upon completion of the training program.  Humbert transitioned into the newly created Financial Advisor role in 2018 and obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional designation in 2020.

Jerry Lack, Insurance Specialist, began working for CNB in 2011 as a Financial Services Representative/Assistant Manager at the Irondequoit Community Office.  Lack then moved to the Jackson Ridge Office,  and the Greece Latta Community Office as Community Office Assistant Manager.  He moved into the Personal Banker Trainee role in 2014.  Lack served as a Financial Advisor 2018 through 2021.  He received the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation and assumed the Insurance Specialist position in 2021. 

Kelly Masline, Underwriting Supervisor, started her career at CNB Mortgage in 1994 as a Mortgage Processor and then as a Mortgage Loan Underwriter.  She was promoted to Team Lead, Underwriting, in 2015 and to Underwriting Supervisor in 2021.

Todd Mihaly, Director – IT Support Services, started at CNB in 2017 as the IT Support Manager.  He was promoted to his role as Director and Assistant Vice President in 2019.  He is currently responsible for IT Support, IT Operations, Desktop Support, End User Account Administration, and Retail Technology Support Services.

Tom Rogers, Senior Commercial Loan Reviewer/Model Manager, began his career at CNB as a teller in 2007 and joined the Credit Risk Team as an analyst later that same year.  Rogers was promoted to the position of Assistant Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Reviewer/Risk Rating Model Manager in December of 2015.
