CNB announces promotions
Canandaigua National Bank & Trust (CNB) has promoted Matt Alexander, Don Barkley, Gabe Del Vecchio, Matt O’Hara, David Spina, and Brenda Whitney to Bank Officer.
Matt Alexander, Private Banker, has been promoted to Bank Officer. Alexander started at CNB in 2010 as a Teller at the Brighton Community Office. He was promoted to Financial Services Representative in 2012, to Service Manager in 2014, and then to Community Office Assistant Manager in 2017. Alexander joined the Wealth Team in 2020 as a Private Banker.
Don Barkley, IT Manager, Core Banking Applications, has been promoted to Bank Officer and Manager of the team responsible for the maintenance, administration, support and enhancements of core business applications. Barkley joined CNB in 1997 as a Computer Operator in the IT Department and has held multiple positions as Network/Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, Senior Systems Analyst and Team Lead, Core Banking Applications.
Gabe Del Vecchio, IT Manager, Business Intelligence, has been promoted to Bank Officer and Manager of the team that is responsible for data, reporting, and analytics. He joined CNB in 2018 as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer after several years as a Contractor. Del Vecchio was promoted to Team Lead, Business Intelligence in 2020.
Matt O’Hara, IT Manager, Salesforce Platform, has been promoted to Bank Officer and Manager of the team that is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, administration, support and enhancements of Salesforce and nCino platforms. O’Hara started at CNB in 2020 as a Senior Salesforce Administrator. He was promoted to Team Lead, Salesforce Platform in 2021.
David Spina, IT Manager, Applications Development, has been promoted to Bank Officer and Manager of the team responsible for all aspects of design, development, testing, and support for Salesforce, MuleSoft, Web, and Integrations. He joined CNB in 2019 as a Salesforce Developer. Spina was promoted to Team Lead, Salesforce/Web Development in 2020.
Brenda Whitney, Resource Recovery Advisor, has been promoted to Bank Officer. Whitney started her career at CNB in 1986 as a Teller. She worked at the Lakeshore, Shortsville, Farmington, and Main Street Canandaigua Community Offices as a Teller, Service Manager, and Area Service Manager. She moved into Resource Recovery in 2012 as a Resource Recovery Counselor. Whitney was promoted to Resource Recovery Advisor in 2015.
