Greece Chamber Charitable Foundation President Michael A. Mordenga and Greece Regional Chamber President/CEO Sarah Lentini were presented with a check from Family First of NY Credit Union President & CEO Tom Dambra and Family First Greece Branch Manager Savannah Wallenhorst. This represents the second year of fundraising that Family First has undertaken on behalf of the Charitable Foundation.
Family First of NY Credit Union’s fund drive was to support nursing education scholarships through the Greece Chamber Charitable Foundation’s Daniel E. Richardson Memorial Fund.
The Greece Chamber Charitable Foundation (GCCF) was created in 2002. The Foundation is a charitable nonprofit organization, a 501 (c) 3, and is led by a board of directors comprised of community volunteers. Their mission is to support programs that prepare young people for success in education and business so as to develop a viable workforce that leads to Greece economic prosperity and community development. Over the last 15 years, the Foundation has funded a variety of organizations, community projects, and initiatives.

Richardson Memorial Fund we are pleased to provide to nursing students from the Greater Greece and Greater Rochester region. in the Isabella Graham Hart School of Practical Nursing and Rochester Regional Health System. These scholarships are consistent with the Foundation’s objectives and will help these students pursue their careers in nursing, while filling critical needs in our healthcare system and community.
