The Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce announced the recipients of the 35th Annual Community Awards sponsored by M&T Bank.
The 35th Annual Community Awards, chaired by Greece Chamber Board Chair Eugene Welch, Esq., of Tully Rinckey PLLC, will recognize the following outstanding individuals and organizations:
Business Persons of the Year – Dr. Katherine Lammers, Dr. Earlando Thomas, Dr. Afreen Tariq-Fazili, Dr. Tamar Hunse, Greece Obsterics & Gynecology LLP.
Girlie Goodwin Citizen of the Year – Mary Jo Gugino Colligan, Angels of Mercy, Inc.
William E. Selke Senior Citizen of the Year – Carmela Gallinat, Northwest AARP, Chapter 3498.
Building Award – New Construction – Cornrstone Surgery Center.
Building Award Renovation – LiDestri Foods, Inc.
Health Award – Cornerstone Eye Associates.
Thomas E. Schommer Spirit of the Chamber Award – Amy Peritsky, Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf.

Each year, the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce recognizes exceptional individuals, business people, and organizations whose business and volunteer activities demonstrate significant contributions to our community. Nominations are solicited and received from throughout the community and reviewed by the Chamber’s Community Award Selection Committee, chaired by Chamber Board President Eugene Welch, Esq., of Tully Rinckey PLLC.
The 35th Annual Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce Community Awards, sponsored by M&T Bank and emceed by 13WHAM News Anchor Doug Emblidge, will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Ridgemont Country Club, 3717 West Ridge Road, Greece, NY 14626 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Reception/Social Hour, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm Dinner & Awards Program.
