Jubilee Christian Church in Brockport will participate in the 2026 Flags of Fellowship campaign, a global remembrance and solidarity initiative organized by the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ).
Flags of Fellowship brings churches, synagogues, universities, schools, and other organizations together to remember the lives lost in the October 7, 2023, attacks on Israel and to express solidarity with the Jewish people.
As part of the 2026 campaign, participating organizations are displaying approximately 1,200 Israeli flags, with each flag representing a life lost in the October 7 attacks. IFCJ says the campaign is now in its third year and is on track to engage more than 2,500 organizations worldwide.
Jubilee Christian Church will join churches and faith communities around the world in this visible expression of remembrance, prayer, and fellowship.
The flags will serve as a reminder that the lives lost on October 7, as well as the victims, hostages, survivors, and families affected by the attacks, must not be forgotten. The initiative also provides an opportunity for Christian communities to stand against antisemitism and express support for the Jewish people.
“Flags of Fellowship” is led by Yael Eckstein, President and Global CEO of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. IFCJ describes the campaign as a movement bringing Christians and Jews together through prayer, remembrance, solidarity, and humanitarian support.
A Visible Statement of Remembrance
For Jubilee Christian Church, participating in Flags of Fellowship is an opportunity to create a visible place of remembrance in the Brockport community and to invite people to pause, reflect, and pray.
The 1,200 flags will represent the individual lives lost on October 7, 2023, transforming the church grounds into a field of remembrance and prayer.
Jubilee Christian Church invites members of the community to recognize the significance of this display and to join in prayer for Israel, the Jewish people, the families affected by October 7, and for peace.
