On Friday, August 23, over 80 seniors attended the annual “Night Under the Stars” event. This special event was sponsored by the Hilton Lions Club and the Hilton Parma Senior Center.
Local seniors were treated to a complimentary picnic style meal, followed by an evening of music by Ernie Capone. Non-perishable food items and a monetary donation were collected and donated to the Hilton Food Shelf.
Local organizations such as Tops helped supply food and gift cards, and many helped make the event a success, including the Hilton Lions Club, Joe Lee, Gary Twentymon, John Corcoran and volunteers Brad Helmer, Murray Weaver, Dave Tresohlavy, Katie Weis, and Brandon McAuliff.
