Tap your heels and follow the yellow brick road to the Spencerport High School’s performance of The Wizard of Oz. This family friendly show (complete with munchkins) will be held November 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m. and November 23 at 2 and 7:30 p.m. at the Spencerport High School Performing Arts Center, 2707 Spencerport Road, Spencerport.
Tickets are $10 for students/senior citizens and $12 for adults, and may be purchased now at the Ogden Farmers’ Library and Spencerport Federal Credit Union. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
In addition to the show, there will be special children’s events:
•Costume Contest: There will be prizes for the best Wizard of Oz costume awarded at each show. Stop by the costume contest table the day/night of the show to enter for chance to win.
•Character events: There will be a Dinner with Dorothy on Friday, November 22 at 5:30 p.m. and a Character Breakfast on Saturday, November 23 at 11:30 a.m. Both events will be held at the Spencerport High School Performing Arts Center.
