Two Brockport Fire District volunteers were honored at the October 10 Joint Fire Service of Monroe County recognition dinner.
Alan Way was presented with the Fire Prevention Educator of the Year Award for his work not only with Brockport Fire District fire prevention activities but also with the Monroe County Fire Prevention Essay Contest.
Laurence Vaughan, District Commissioner and Past Chief, was presented with the Meritorious Service Award for his dedicated service to the Fire Service. Vaughan was nominated by the Monroe County Fire Chief’s Association.
