“Trekking in the Himalayas” will be presented by Peter Randazzo with a slide show at the Morgan-Manning House in Brockport on Wednesday, January 8. He will focus on the people and culture of Nepal. The program starts at 7:30 p.m. at 151 Main Street. It is free, open to the public, and concludes with refreshments.
Randazzo is retired from teaching in Spencerport School District and works as a consultant for the New York State United Teachers. In retirement, he has traveled to all 50 states in the U.S., and is now choosing to visit many other beautiful places in the world twice each year, most recently the Himalayas. His trip to Nepal lasted a total of three weeks, two weeks in Nepal including six days of trekking about 37 miles, and a one-week side trip to India.
