The annual Wegmans Culinary Teen Camp scholarship essay contest awards two teens with scholarships to attend a five-day culinary camp at Wegmans Menu Cooking School in Rochester or Wegmans Menu Cooking Events in Buffalo.
To enter, teens (ages 12 to 18) are invited to submit an essay of up to 350 words answering the question, “What inspires you to want to learn more about cooking?” Entries may be sent via email tomenucookingschool@wegmans.com or by mail to Wegmans Menu Cooking School, Attn: Angela Volta, P.O. Box 30844, 1500 Brooks Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624. Include the teen’s name and age along with a parent’s name, mailing address, email address, phone number with area code, and an indication of whether the entry is for Rochester or Buffalo.
Essays may be submitted through February 28. A panel of Wegmans employees will review and score the entries, and two winners will be announced on or about March 7.
