An English Tea takes place at the Morgan-Manning House in Brockport on Sunday, April 6. It starts at 2:30 in the Victorian-Style home at 151 Main Street. The Western Monroe Historical Society is sponsoring the event to support the maintenance of the 1854 elegant home which is a museum and meeting place for community programs.
Being planned are three finger sandwiches, plus scones, mini cupcakes, lemon cookies and mini cheesecakes, subject to change. Two different types of tea will be offered.
The cost is $20 for Society members and $25 for non-members. Reservation must be made by March 28, due to limited space. Call the WMHS office (585) 637-3645 for reservations.
