A reception was held at the Greece Historical Society, 595 Long Pond Road to kick off the 2014 Capital Campaign. Nearly 50 members, friends and volunteers showed up in support of the campaign.
Between now and their June 16 Strawberry Festival, members of the campaign team will be canvassing area businesses and organizations to insure the Greece Historical Society meets their goal. Because of last year’s efforts the society has raised nearly half of their $25,000 goal, which will help fund a new roof and other needed repairs and upgrades.
The Greece Historical Society is an all volunteer organization that owns and maintains the Greece Museum at 595 Long Pond Road.
