The College at Brockport’s Facilities Maintenance crew demonstrates tree planting to Arbor Day volunteers who planted nine trees on Adams Street in Brockport village. College and Brockport Central School students assisted Tree Board members with the planting.
2014 marks Brockport’s 9th annual Arbor Day celebration and 6th year as a Tree City USA.
Arbor Day also brought the good news that the village had been awarded $17,700 in two urban forestry grants from the Department of Environmental Conservation.
