The Girl Scout Bronze Award is the highest award a Junior can earn. Working toward obtaining this award demonstrates their commitment to helping others, improving their community and the world, and becoming the best they can be.
Hillwood Girl Scout Troop 60322 completed their Bronze Award May 15 by hosting other Girl Scout Daisy troops from Hilton for “Bring Your Doll and learn to Camp Like A Girl.” In exchange of charging a fee to attend, their admission price was to bring canned items for the Hilton Food Shelf.
At this event, the Juniors taught the younger girls some Girl Scout songs, games, crafts, and snack referencing the Girl Scout promise. Through this experience they were able to see what a real Camporee would be like if they were to attend.
Girl Scouts of Troop 60322 are Morgan Adams, Kirstin Billings, Victoria Cangialosi, Brenna Griggs, Lexie Lane, Mikayla Mull, Hannah Robinson and Taylor Underwood.
