Cruising down the Erie Canal is a fine way to enjoy the summer weather.Many birthdays – one picnic – Happiness is celebrating birthdays with a picnic! Attendees came from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, LeRoy, Spencerport and Brockport.Greece resident Dianna Volpe, 6, thoroughly enjoyed the rainbow mister at the water facility in Pineway Ponds Park in Ogden.The Sarnov family enjoys a walk on the Erie Canalway Trail in Spencerport. The Hilton group consists of Hannah, 12, Mark, Bobbi and Nathan, 10. The goldendoodle is Gwen, a two-year-old and the 13th pup in a litter of 13, that was featured in a group picture in the Suburban News and Hamlin-Clarkson Herald two years ago.Lynn Rogers plays the guitar and the harmonica alongside the Spencerport Gazebo. “I like to come out and play music by the water,” he said.Spencerport residents and bicyclists Rob Vink and daughter Rylee, 9, take a turn on the popular Erie Canalway Trail in Spencerport.
