MacDonell is a retired public school administrator from Shortsville who obtained his CAS in educational administration from The College at Brockport and also did adjunct teaching there. He is a 20 year Rotarian and served as president of two different clubs (Shortsville and Clifton Springs). He encouraged clubs to continue to work on abolishing polio since recent wars have interfered with its eradication. He wants clubs to help their communities realize what Rotary is and how it contributes to the betterment of the world.
The Brockport club meets at Fazool’s Restaurant most Thursdays at 6:15 p.m. Visitors are welcome.
