Native American artifacts on display
A collection of arrowheads and other Indian artifacts is on display at the Newman Riga Library until the end of April. Allan Ward of Lakeville, NY would find these artifacts as he was working on his property at the north end of Conesus Lake. There are many examples of working tools such as an axe, stones used to pound grain, and even pipes for smoking.
The Newman Riga Library is located at the intersection of Routes 33 and 36 in the Village of Churchville. For information, please call the Library at 293-2009.
