A vocal concert, “Puttin’ on a Show,” will be performed at the Brockport First Baptist Church on Sunday, February 28 at 3 p.m.
The performance will bring together the talents of three local choruses: the Sweden Senior Singers, under the direction of Maryellen Giese; the Spencerport Community Chorus, under the direction of Darla Bair; and For Singing’s Sake, an all women’s chorus under the direction of Tina Fenton. They will perform a wide variety of songs including genres such as rock, pop, classical, gospel and show tunes.
The concert is free; however, a free will donation is appreciated of either money or a non-perishable food item(s). Patrons may also take part in a baked food sale, proceeds of which will also benefit the food shelves.
The church, located at 124 Main Street in the village of Brockport, is handicapped accessible. Refreshments and fellowship will follow the concert.
