The Spencerport Community Chorus will present a series of spring concerts, “Springing Forth With Sound” on Saturday, March 12 at 7 p.m. and again on Sunday, March 13 at 3 p.m. Both concerts will take place at the Ogden Presbyterian Church, 2400 South Union Street, Spencerport.
Under the direction of Darla Bair, the concert will feature selections such as: “We’re Gonna Put on a Show!” by Jay Althouse, “Yankee Doodle Dandy” by George M. Cohan, “Hey Big Spender” from Sweet Charity, and many more.
The concerts will also include special presentations by chorus members Julie Izzo, soprano; Bob Dean, tenor; Gail Knowles, soprano; Gary Hampton, tenor; and Dick Carter, bass.
Come join in sharing music with friends and neighbors at no cost. Light refreshments will follow after each concert.
