Though crossword puzzle constructor John Dunn says he has created fewer puzzles in recent months due to time constraints, he’s excited that one of his newest will be published in the Wednesday, April 6, 2016 edition of the Wall Street Journal.
This will be the first of his puzzles printed in the WSJ and is theme-based, as are all crosswords in the publication. “You’ll just have to solve it to suss-out the theme!” he says.
Dunn has only submitted a handful of puzzles to the Wall Street Journal but has had many of his word challenges printed in other prominent publications including eight published in the New York Times and two in the Los Angeles Times.
Dunn, owner of Dunn’s Home Furnishings in Brockport and a Spencerport resident, has created several puzzles for Westside News Inc. newspapers Suburban News and Hamlin-Clarkson Herald, the most recent one printed in March of this year.
