John, a Hilton High School graduate and current Hilton resident, purchased his winning ticket at Tops Markets last summer. He has attended the Apple Fest for years, saying he enjoys the great sights, sounds and smells of the occasion.
The proceeds from the Quilt Raffle benefits two Hilton High School seniors who plan to attend college in the fall.
